Stage 2:
Paint scheme visuals
September 2004

II never intended to keep the original colour scheme on the bike so decided to put my Photoshop skills to good use before committing myself to the final design. The main insprations were the Briel Supersports 749 and the MV F4 Senna - basically black with red wheels.

WHEELS:
I loved the red wheels on my previous S4 but wanted to make them a touch different from just plain red. The MV Senna wheels are just a touch different from normal - red inners with polished rims - and they obviously don't look standard issue. They may however be replaced by some carbon magnesium jobbies if a certain deal comes to fruition.

FRAME:
The frame will be chopped and painted red. Cosmetically, we will also need to address how all the cable ties are hidden on the frame. On a darker coloured frame, the cable ties are not that noticeable but on a red frame, they really do spoil the lines.

BODYWORK AND TANK:
Metallic black with a red corse stripe is the basic colour theme. The final design is still being worked on with silver, metallic black and candy metallic red being the three colours throughout.

SWINGARM:
Initially, I intended to get the swingarm polished but have been advised against it due to the amount of polishing it would require to keep in top condition. It will more than likely be painted now but am still undecided as to what colour though.
